I did say that I would review a certain Shovel Knight before, so here we go! I was pleasantly surprised when I first played it, I didn't think there was going to be as much story or character depth as there is. It was just wonderfully pieced together, the music is great, as is the art style, and the gameplay is incredibly smooth. The game definitely doesn't hold anybody's hand. It drops you in a level and says "Good luck, have fun, play safe, and don't die!"
I do highly recommend it, it's so fun and very reminiscent of many classics on the NES, of course with a shovel-y twist.
